Training Programme on Water Sensitive Design and Planning: Towards Sustainable Urban Development.

Date: 14 to 16 July, 2015

The Water Programme at Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), recently conducted a three day training programme on "Water Sensitive Design and Planning: Towards Sustainable Urban Development" on July 14-16, 2015. It was organized under the "Capacity Building of Urban Local Body" (CBULB) programme sponsored by the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Government of India.

Safe Accessibility for Road Users

CSE conducted a three-day training programme on ‘Safe Accessibility for Road Users’ in New Delhi from July 27– 29, 2015. This was a specialised programme designed to help officials in developing strategies needed to enhance safe accessibility for pedestrians and non-motorized transport modes.

Workshop on improving Energy efficiency & Environmental Performance of Thermal Power Plants


Green Rating Team of the Centre for Science and Environment is conducting a one-day workshop in collaboration with JSW Energy Limited at Raj West Power Limited, Barmer (Rajasthan) on 28th July 2015.

The objective of the workshop is to discuss best practices and key issues in efficiency and environment management of coal fired plants.
