About AAETI and its training programmes:
AAETI is a learning, training and innovation centre that is designed to find appropriate and affordable solutions to some of the most pressing problems faced by developing countries, from climate change, air pollution and urban mobility to water and waste management, sustainable industrialisation, urban growth and environmental degradation. 

The Schools:
The Institute will conduct its courses on this campus through six Schools of Learning. The faculty which will lead these Schools will comprise of some of the foremost experts in their fields – from India and other countries. AAETI will have adequate capacity to conduct a maximum of three full-fledged training programmes at any given point of time.

The job:
Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is looking for a Director for the Training Programmes it conducts on subjects related to environment and sustainable development. Currently, the courses are organised at its facility at 38 Tughlakabad Institutional Area and will be subsequently done at its upcoming campus at Nimli near Alwar (Rajasthan), about 100 km from Delhi. The Anil Agarwal Environmental Training Institute (AAETI) -- as the centre has been named -- is spread over 11 acres, and will be operational by 2017. It will have residential facilities for staff and trainees. All features of a ‘green’ building have been incorporated in its planning and construction.

This position is open for CSE's new residential campus in Nimli, Alwar, Rajasthan.

The profile:
We are looking for a dynamic individual with at least 10-12 years of experience in a similar capacity. The candidate must possess research, training and administrative skills, and a clear understanding of environmental issues. S/He should be able to develop, conduct and manage training programmes, and market them as well. A number of teams in CSE are involved in these training programmes – the selected candidate would be expected to coordinate their activities and help them work together.
