How the Bellary mining ban will impact thousands of families

Bellary, June 30: Environmental pollution in Sandur, Hospet and Bellary has reached an extreme. Air and water pollution is visible to the naked eye. The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has not properly documented the violation of pollution control norms, as some board officials too were hand-in-glove with the violators. Suspended particulate matter in the air is more than 50% over acceptable limits prescribed by KSPCB.
