CSE top environment policy think tank in India and Global South, says new University of Pennsylvania report; 16th in the world

New Delhi, February 6, 2018: New Delhi-based Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) has once again emerged as one of the top think tanks in the world. Climbing up two positions from last year, CSE this year was ranked the 16th top environment policy think tank in the world by The Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) of the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. The Program conducts research on the role policy institutes play in governments and civil societies around the world.

In the latest rankings, CSE is placed among the top 10 in all categories in India. It has also been named in the world’s first comprehensive list of leading food and water security research and advocacy organisations.
