The Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), an established research and advocacy institute needs a Programme Officer for its programme on clean air and sustainable urban transport, to do high quality policy and technical research, interact with policy makers, regulators and other target groups.
The candidate must have experience in technical and policy research in the areas including urban air pollution, health impacts and comprehensive understanding of vehicular pollution issues. Ability to do air quality modelling and technical studies will be given preference.
In addition, the candidate must have excellent verbal, written communication and networking skills as the job profile will require interaction with various stakeholders, extensive research and writing reports, policy briefs, papers and articles. This will require the candidate to have the ability to convey technical and policy-related issues analytically and with clarity.
We are looking for postgraduates in sciences having experience of at least 5 years in the similar capacity is desirable.
