CSE’s ‘State of India’s Environment’ reports have been widely acknowledged as the most comprehensive and authoritative series of publications on the subject of environment and development in India. The report on mining lives up to the reputation and the promise.
Sunita Narain, director, CSE and Chandra Bhushan, associate director, CSE will make presentations on the occasion. This will be followed by a panel discussion by representatives of regulatory agency, industry and civil society.

Registration and attendance are free of charge. Media people, civil society workers and activists, regulators, mineral industry representatives, and students and teachers of mining and minerals are especially encouraged to register.
