The top Green Schools of Delhi and India will receive the coveted Green Schools Awards on July 15, 2011. The awards will be given away by the Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, Ms. Sheila Dikshit. Winners of 2007
The Green Schools Award were given away at a fun-filled ceremony at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on December 17, 2007. About 344 schools from across the nation participated, out of which 20 schools were short-listed as the top green schools of the country. Professor Krishna Kumar, Director, National Council for Education, Research and Training (NCERT) presented the awards to the top 20 Green Schools.
