Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), a research and advocacy organisation is looking for a Training Associate for its Clean Air and Sustainable Transportation Programme to develop and conduct capacity building and training programme on air quality management and sustainable mobility strategies for diverse group of stakeholders.
This is a critical programme to build regulatory, industry and civil society leadership to drive change in these areas of intervention.
We are looking for a graduate or a postgraduate in any of the field of sciences, environmental sciences, urban planning and design, and social sciences with strong domain knowledge, organisational and management capability. Experience of at least 3-4 years will be given preference.
This position has been specially created for CSE’s new training institute Anil Agarwal Environmental Training Institute near Alwar, Rajasthan (about 100 km from Delhi) that will require both on-site and off-site training programme. This will also include state level training programme to support implementation in states.
Work profile
Design and build capacity building programme customised to the needs of regulators and different target groups in the area of air quality management and sustainable transportation
Contribute to research and also customise research products to develop training modules and resource material for capacity building programme
Ability to anchor and conduct training programme; feel comfortable about giving classroom lectures in respective domain areas
Need networking skill to build the community of trainee from different target groups
Enjoy travelling to organise meetings and associated activities as required by the programme
Competencies
Good networking skills with interest in organising trainings
Software MS office/ word/ excel
Language proficiency - English (speaking, reading and writing) and Hindi (speaking and reading)
Willingness to travel
