Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites you to a webinar and online release of its new report, Agrometeorological Advisory Services in India: An assessment. In this age of extreme and variable weather, an analysis of weather and crop information to provide regular farming advice has become an important tool to improve productivity and build resilience amongst farmers. It is clear that this information – both in terms of weather forecasts as well as crop-related timely and locale-specific advice -- will help farmers adapt to climate risks. These insights from the Indian system may help provide recommendations for other parts of our similarly impacted world.
