Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is a leading research and advocacy organization working for environment protection. CSE has set up a state-of-the-art laboratory for wastewater, septage management and organic food certification. The laboratory is situated at CSE’s residential campus at Anil Agarwal Environment Training Institute (AAETI), located in Alwar, Rajasthan.
Job profile:
The job profile includes carrying out sampling design and analysis of wastewater and faecal sludge samples, assessing performance testing of decentralized treatment technologies. The candidate would help in designing models for maintenance of wastewater and septage management systems. He / She will also carry out documentation on technology menus for decentralized technologies and knowledge support on demonstration projects.
Qualification and experience:
The candidate should have BE/B.Tech degree in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or M.Tech in Public Health Engineering and a hands-on experience of setting up sanitation design, planning and implementation. Candidates having prior experience in commissioning of wastewater treatment systems and having the ability of carving models for systems, technology testing would be preferred. At least 10 years of work experience in a similar or related capacity would be preferred.
This position is open at CSE’s new residential campus AAETI in Alwar, Rajasthan. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
