Reporters for Down To Earth

The magazine reports on the politics of development, environment and health. It was launched in 1992 by the Delhi based advocacy group Centre for Science and Environment and continues to be relevant even after 25 years. We report from the ground – research labs, hospitals, farms, forests, villages and even from other countries. The job is based in Delhi and would require extensive travel. 

The candidate should meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Patience for analytical reportage and the promptness for reporting developing stories.
• Should be willing to crunch numbers and unpackage complex science. Background in science is desirable.
• Applicants should be comfortable working for the print, web and multimedia platforms of the magazine. 
• Should have 3-4 years of experience in reporting for the print medium.
