Dear GEN member,
Welcome to this month’s edition of the Green Educators’ Network (GEN) bulletin. As we deepen our engagement with pressing environmental themes in the classroom, mobility and transport emerge as critical areas of discussion.
This edition features a special series from Down To Earth on ‘How India Moves’, exploring the changing patterns of mobility in India, including its environmental and social cost. The series offers insights into the commuting patterns of different cities and emphasises the valuable lessons to be learnt from them.
We also continue to invite contributions from members of the network. Whether it’s a classroom activity you’ve tried, a campus initiative led by your students, or a reflection on teaching environmental issues — we would love to hear from you. Your stories help create a shared space of learning and inspiration.
Please send your contributions to gen@cseindia.org, with ‘GEN bulletin Contribution’ as the subject line. We look forward to hearing from you and highlighting your work in future editions.
