The case study provides the short term and long term Rejuvenation strategies for the Bellandur and Varthur lakes in Bengaluru. This includes water quality management through setting up of STPs and constructed wetlands, restoring land use in buffer areas by clearing encroachments and strengthening public organizations responsible for management and conservation of these water bodies.
