Guidelines for cost-benefit analysis for flood reduction, USA

In this case study, guidelines are provided for the Silver Creek Watershed in Toledo, Ohio after conducting the technical assessment. Damages due to flood were estimated for current and future scenario and accordingly GI options like Bioswales; acquisition of tax-forfeited land for flood storage; green roofs; permeable pavements; retention ponds, widen storm water drain etc. were proposed. The contents provided in this case study is based on secondary research from open sources mentioned in reference section and don't necessarily reflect those of Centre for Science and Environment.
