This case study highlights the Rainwater harvesting (RWH) project at Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur, India. The objective of the RWH here is to serve as model project for households in urban areas of arid zone climate with the same principles of the traditional system of Rajasthan known as tankas according to yearly rainfall intensity of 320 mm.
