Zonal development plan for River Yamuna, Delhi, India

This case study showcase the zonal development plan (ZDP) for Zone ‘O’ for River Yamuna and its floodplain which has been prepared under special circumstances to address the ecological needs. The ZDP aims to rejuvenate the river by regulating land use in the floodplain. The major proposals include the restriction of land use for recreational activities and agriculture. The contents provided in this case study is based on secondary research from open sources mentioned in reference section and don't necessarily reflect those of Centre for Science and Environment.
