Dear GEN member,
This edition of the GEN Bulletin brings you thought-provoking perspectives and inspiring stories from the world of environmental education. This month’s bulletin features a special editorial by CSE’s Director General Sunita Narain on how extreme floods and cloudbursts in northern India are no longer just natural calamities but consequences of our development choices. The article reflects on how climate change and poor planning together are shaping disasters of our own making.
We invite you to attend this month’s online session and hear from our network members how they have implemented the GEN Green Guide for Educators into practice in their classrooms.
We also continue to invite contributions from members of the network. Whether it’s a classroom activity you’ve tried, a campus initiative led by your students, or a reflection on teaching environmental issues — we would love to hear from you. Your stories help create a shared space of learning and inspiration.
Please send your contributions to gen@cseindia.org, with ‘GEN Bulletin Contribution’ as the subject line. We look forward to hearing from you and highlighting your work in future editions.
