Dear GEN member,
As climate impacts intensify around us, it becomes clear that this is not a distant or abstract issue — it is unfolding in our own cities, villages, and classrooms. This month’s featured article, “Climate’s local call and the denier” by Sunita Narain, reminds us that denial and inaction only deepen the crisis for those already most vulnerable. As educators, we hold the responsibility to bring this conversation closer home — to help our students see how global change connects to local realities, and how informed choices can shape a more sustainable future.
We also continue to invite contributions from members of the network. Whether it’s a classroom activity you’ve tried, a campus initiative led by your students, or a reflection on teaching environmental issues — we would love to hear from you. Your stories help create a shared space of learning and inspiration.
