Dear GEN member,
Air pollution today is not just an environmental concern — it is a public-health emergency shaping the lives of millions, often in ways we fail to see. This month’s featured article ‘Slow murder continues: some suffer more’ sheds light on how polluted air disproportionately harms the most vulnerable, turning an everyday reality into a silent and unequal crisis. As educators, this calls on us to help students understand how such systemic issues intersect with health, equity, and justice, and why meaningful action begins with awareness in our own communities.
We continue to welcome contributions from across the network. If you have tried an innovative classroom activity, led an environmental initiative on your campus, or reflected on teaching complex issues such as air pollution or climate change, we would be delighted to hear from you. Your experiences help build a collective learning space and inspire educators nationwide.
Please send your contributions to gen@cseindia.org, with ‘GEN Bulletin Contribution’ as the subject line. We look forward to featuring your work in upcoming editions.
