AAETI conducts its trainings through nine Schools (or departments), each of which focuses on a specific area of interest and a set of subjects.

The Institute usually conducts training courses and programmes which are focused and short-term – three days to a week-long in duration. Trainers and faculty are drawn from among subject experts and researchers working in CSE, as well as from other organisations and agencies. The courses are divided into clear modules, and the training methodology includes classroom lectures and discussions, field visits, interactive sessions etc.

SCHOOL OF WATER AND WASTEWATER

Offers online as well as onsite residential courses and trainings on topics ranging from restoration and revival of waterbodies, rivers and aquifers; reuse of treated wastewater; rural sanitation; rainwater harvesting; groundwater management and creation and management of treatment infrastructure such as faecal sludge treatment plants etc. The School also partners with CSE’s Environment Monitoring Laboratory to run curated, specialised trainings.
