Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), India’s leading public interest research institution known for its rigorous scientific policy research and advocacy on environmental issues, is looking for a Director to head its Climate Change and Energy unit.
He/she is expected to take the lead role in overall research, advocacy and campaign for an effective, ambitious and equitable climate change agreement. In addition, he/she will lead our effort to advocate for increased share of renewable energy, particularly in the context of energy access for the poorest.
We need a colleague with leadership skills so that you can work with colleagues and build alliances. We need a colleague who will work independently, but also collaboratively. But most importantly, we are looking for a colleague who wants to be part of the change we need in the world. We need commitment but also a high order of skills; to research, to write and to persuade.
Qualifications:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
