The Anil Agarwal Dialogue (AAD) is the Centre for Science and Environment’s flagship annual media conclave, bringing together journalists, communicators and thought leaders to engage with the most pressing environmental and development challenges of our times.
Held every year at the Anil Agarwal Environment Training Institute (AAETI) in Nimli, Rajasthan, the Dialogue creates a unique space for learning, reflection, and exchange, rooted in CSE’s commitment to informed public discourse and evidence-based journalism.
The Dialogue also marks the release of Down To Earth’s annual publication, the State of India’s Environment report. This flagship report offers a comprehensive update on key environmental issues, drawing on over three decades of CSE’s research and reportage. It covers critical themes such as biodiversity, extreme weather events, agriculture, water, renewable energy and habitat—highlighting their intersections with society and the economy.
