CSE’s Green Educators’ Network

CSE’s Green Educators’ Network (GEN) is aimed at creating a community of educators who not only understand the role of education in sustainable development, but also work actively towards nurturing the skills and knowledge in young students so that they can contribute to sustainable and equitable development.  

Membership of this Network is completely free and voluntary.

GEN Member privileges:

  1. As a GEN Member, you will receive subscriptions to various CSE newsletters. This will also include subscription to EarthWise, the exclusive newsletter for GEN Members. You will have the freedom to unsubscribe whenever you want.
  2. From time to time, CSE will offer special discounts on CSE publications for GEN members only.
  3. CSE’s University Programme will organise exclusive events open only for GEN members and their students. These will include expert talks and lectures, workshops and conclaves, and specially curated training programmes.
  4. GEN members will be regularly informed and kept updated about all CSE events, new publications, training opportunities etc.
  5. Members will have the opportunity to contribute to and write in Down To Earth.
  6. Members would be given priority access to the host of environmental content resources that CSE is a repository of.
  7. CSE has a vibrant internship programme – this programme will be open for students recommended by GEN Members. 

As a GEN member, we expect you to:

  1. Be committed towards making GEN a successful and vibrant community
  2. Participate actively in events organised for the network members, as well as in other events of interest to you
  3. Work actively to involve your students in events and trainings organised by CSE’s University Programme
  4. Help the network grow — encourage other institutions and faculties in the community to join and participate in CSE’s network-building initiatives
