Editors / Researchers / Correspondents for CSE’s State of Renewable Energy Report

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), a public interest research and advocacy organisation based in New Delhi, which does research and communicates the urgency of development that is both sustainable and equitable. 

We are looking for editors, researchers and journalists to work on our programme on renewable energy – CSE plays a critical role to analyse developments in this fast-changing sector. We believe that renewable energy needs to work for energy access and sustainability – meet the objectives of both development and climate change. 

We are building a team to provide timely information, which is factual, rigorous, analytical on renewable energy. The team will work on daily reports, news stories, analysis and also be responsible for putting together the state of renewable energy report. In addition, we will convene meetings and dialogues to build an understanding of the state of affairs and the need for policy and practice interventions. 

The team would write for the fortnightly magazine Down To Earth, use multimedia and social media to disseminate the research.  

We are looking for the following: 

  1. Editors: With minimum 5 years of experience, ideally in the energy/renewable energy sector.
  2. Managers (Researchers and Journalists): With minimum 3 years of experience, ideally with an interest and commitment to work on energy access and renewable power.
