Bhagirath Srivas, Down To Earth and Prabhat Kumar (formerly Down To Earth) have been honoured with the Laadli Media & Advertising Award for Gender Sensitivity 2025 - Regionals in the Web-Feature Video (English) Category.

Their award-winning story, “Jal Saheli: Women in Parched Bundelkhand Villages Pioneering Water Conservation Efforts”, captures the realities of Bundelkhand, a region long scarred by water scarcity, where the burden falls heaviest on marginalised communities, especially women.

The film documents the extraordinary determination of a group of women who refused to remain passive in the face of crisis. They took the initiative to bring water to the village by carving a path through a mountain, bringing unimaginable changes in the geographical and social landscape of the area.
