CSE recognised among the world’s top 100 environmental think tanks

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) has been recognised among the world’s top 100 environmental think tanks in the Global Environmental Think Tank Development Report, released by the Institute for Green Innovation and Development in Hangzhou, China.

The report also lists CSE among the world’s top 50 think tanks in three categories: Environmental Pollution Control, Biodiversity and Ecosystem, and Sustainable Development.

The recognition came at the International Symposium on Environmental Think Tank Development and Cooperation, held on October 16–17, 2026, where CSE's Parth Kumar presented work on India’s energy and industrial green transition and participated in a panel discussion on think tank capacity building and cooperation.
