As India’s e-bus rollout expands into smaller urban centers under the PM-eBus Sewa scheme, the challenge for STUs, cities, and operators has shifted from vehicle procurement to operational optimization. E-buses represent a complete operational transformation, not just a technology transition. To ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable services, precise data capture and analytics must replace guesswork at every stage of the asset lifecycle—from route planning and charging schedules to fleet monitoring, maintenance, and real-time decision making.
