Stakeholder Consultation Workshop in Zanzibar, 29th August, 2016 A six day scoping visit was made in Zanzibar to understand the existing issues and challenges in the island concerning waste and wastewater management, tourism sector, forestry and climate change; and compliance and enforcement. On 29th August, 2016, a half day stakeholder consultation workshop was organized by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), New Delhi and Zanzibar Environment Management Authority (ZEMA) to discuss the major findings of the scoping visit done by CSE staff and to finalise the major areas of future intervention.
