He is the distinguished member of organizations like - The Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkatta (MIE) and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). He work intensively on Value Engineering, Project Management, Low-cost housing, Construction Management and solid waste management and publish several research articles in journal of international repute.

Vijay Shankar Kanthan
Consulting with UNICEF and other development organisations in India to strengthen public advocacy and behaviour change communication interventions. He is also a doctoral research scholar with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi working on an ‘integrated framework for social value creation’. Vijay has international certifications in design thinking and positive psychology. He has contributed to the development of the CAS modules for SBM (Gramin) and identification of IEC best practices for SBM (urban).
