UNFCCC Climate Finance Talks: The Workshop on Practical Solutions, part of the Xingu Finance Talks on Article 2.1c of the Paris Agreement will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on October 11, 2026. The session will feature consultations with a civil society, Parties, and other non-Party stakeholders regarding practical steps for implementing Article 2.1c of the Paris Agreement, which focuses on aligning financial flows with low-emission, climate-resilient development. Against the backdrop of the World Bank - IMF Annuals, key themes for discussion include reducing the cost of capital for developing countries, and preventing debt burdens from consuming shrinking fiscal space.
