Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) organised an Orientation Workshop on Safe Access and Parking Strategies for Liveable Cities on February 16, 2017 at Lytton Hotel, Sudder Street, Kolkata. This programme represents our initiative to promote good regulatory practices in air quality and mobility management focusing on non-motorised transport (NMT), road safety, safe accessibility and car restraint measures. The objective of this forum was to bring together regulators and other stakeholders from Kolkata and select cities of the eastern region to sensitise and discuss the critical issues of NMT, road safety, accessibility and parking and share experiences and best practices.
