Training on Rainwater Harvesting System

Center for Science and Environment (CSE) is organizing a 3 day training programme for capacitating practitioners working with WaterAid India and its field partners on ‘Rainwater Harvesting System’.

The purpose of the training is to create an enabling environment for mainstreaming sustainable water management in urban and rural India with focus on rainwater harvesting (RWH).

About training programme

The aim of the training programme is to develop a cadre of practitioners with knowledge, skills and attitude for mainstreaming sustainable and affordable rainwater harvesting in India.   

The three day programme will focus on RWH and the potential it holds in augmentation of water availability by using public spaces to recharge groundwater or store and reuse the rainwater. The participants will get the opportunity to plan and design a RWH system and also learn about best management practices.
