Country Positions on the Global Plastic Treaty

Negotiations on a Global Plastic Treaty have been going on since 2022 – and the next and final leg of the talks are scheduled to happen in Geneva from August 5-14, 2025.

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is organising a briefing for communicators (journalists, media persons, writers etc) on the road taken by these negotiations through the years, what are the different country positions, how these positions may influence the upcoming negotiations at Geneva, and what could be the possible areas of agreement or contention.

CSE will release its Global Country Positions report on this occasion.
