This event is complete

An interactive 90-minute primer jointly hosted by CSE, NIVA, and GRID-Arendal, designed to unpack key issues ahead of the resumed plastics treaty negotiations (INC-5.2). The session will offer critical insights into the evolution of the text, key issues on the table – from polymers, finance, just transition and decision making – and bring together diverse stakeholder voices including civil society, industry, waste pickers, and scientists. It aims to inform and prepare participants for effective engagement in the next phase of negotiations.

Experts and stakeholders will break down the evolving text, highlight critical themes and share reflections on what’s at stake for governments, communities, and industry.
