CSE's Two weeks course on Waste Management: Policies, Issues, Challenges and Way Forward

Centre for science and Environment (CSE), has been conducting capacity building programme for officers of State Pollution Control Board and the Municipality Officers under the tripartite agreement between CSE, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

The upcoming programme is scheduled in December 2015, on the issue of waste management. 

The programme will discuss national and international laws applicable for waste management especially municipal solid waste, e-waste and bio-medical waste. It will impart methods and best practices for recycle, reuse, co-processing and scientific disposal of wastes. 

The objective of the programme is to build a cadre of professionals for efficient waste management. The programme will consist of lectures, class exercises, group work, Q&A sessions and field visits. 

COURSE FEE:
The course is free. SPCBs and Municipalities have to borne to & fro travel expenses of their officials.  

Note: Accommodation and food expenses will be borne by CSE.
