As cities and countries get swamped by vehicles, used tyres are emerging as a waste stream with serious environmental consequences. As is the case in India, African nations too are
grappling with the growing challenge of managing large volumes of waste tyres. While a few nations have initiated recycling systems, many are still exploring sustainable pathways.
Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites all to join its webinar on the subject – the aim is to share country-level perspectives on waste tyre management, highlight innovative practices, regulatory approaches as well as the challenges, and exchange lessons between countries that can inform future strategies and collaborations.
