Strategies to Reduce Industrial Air Pollution

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites you to a webinar to discuss industrial air pollution in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), and strategies that can be worked upon to reduce it.

CSE has recently published a report on "Enhanced strategic plan towards clean air in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR)". The report assesses pollution challenges in the MMR, and the actions taken to control different sources of pollution. Among these, industrial pollution has been observed to be a significant contributor to the total pollution load.

The industrial section of the CSE report analyses fuel consumption, estimates pollution loads, and identifies the major polluting industrial sectors in the industrial areas of MMR. Based on the estimation and assessment, an action plan to reduce industrial air pollution in MMR has also been developed. The webinar will aim to disseminate the findings of CSE's analysis and recommended actions for Industries, industrial associations, development agencies, corporations and regulators.
