Mercom India organised the Clean Energy Meet in Noida on December 9, 2022. The agenda for the event included Clean Power Purchase-Options and Technologies (maximizing returns on investment), rooftop solar installation and innovative financing solutions.

At the event, discussions centred on how the pandemic has shown that for commercial and industrial businesses, solar is the best option--when it comes to cutting operational costs and availing environmental and economic benefits in the process. Apart from businesses, large institutions and residential apartments also require energy sources that are clean, green, and cost-competitive to the grid power tariffs. In such a scenario, solar is an attractive option for businesses that are trying to reduce their operational costs. With new business models in the market, there is a renewed interest in going solar. Moreover, solar solution providers equipped with advanced technologies, financing schemes, and regulatory provisions offer attractive solutions to consumers.

The event brought together clean energy solutions providers and consumers to discuss the power requirement, cost-benefit, challenges, opportunities, and solutions as well.
