My Food Story is back again with a new contest, looking for new recipes and newer stories!
Summer holidays are on. Many of us might be planning to travel. Whether it is a train ride, a road trip, a family picnic, or a pilgrimage, we have often carried home-cooked food with us. Foods that cool our bodies and feed our wanderlust. Foods that can withstand the heat and stay fresh for hours or even days. Foods that hold memories of people, places and traditions, and reflect the local ingredients and knowledge that make them special.
Foods that remind you – as you travel -- of your home, your kitchen, and of those loved ones who put their special culinary skills to task to bring these savouries to fruition.
In this edition of MY FOOD STORY, the unique retelling-a-recipe contest from Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), we are focused on foods that go with our summer sorties. Send us those recipes and the stories attached to them. The best of the best will find a space on our website – as you can see here.
