Training programme on 'Designing of Rainwater Harvesting for Sustainable Drinking Water Supply System' for UP Jal Nigam and WSSO officials

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) designated as Key Resource Centre under the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation (MoDWS) is organizing a four days training programme on ‘Designing of Rainwater Harvesting for Sustainable Drinking Water Supply System’ from 5-8 August 2013. 

The audience will be UP Jal Nigam and WSSO officials from the targeted districts (Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Bijnor, Jyotiba Rao Phule Nagar, Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Rampur, Badaun, Bareilly, Pilibhat, Kheri, Shahjahanpur, Kanshiram Nagar, Aligarh, Farrukhabad, Etah, Mainpuri, Mahamaya Nagar, Mathura, Agra and Firozabad) to be held at Central Public Works Department (CPWD) Training Institute, Kamla Nehru Nagar, Hapur Road, Ghaziabad, UP.

The aim of the proposed training programme is to provide hand holding support in planning, designing and implementation of sustainable drinking water supply system with focus on rainwater harvesting facilities that can be operated as well as maintained at the individual and community level.
