E-powering the mobility transition in Africa: Pan-Africa Electric Mobility Action Forum Workshop

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), a New Delhi, India based public interest research and advocacy organisation announces its upcoming Pan-Africa Electric Mobility Forum workshop, a collaborative event dedicated to shaping the emerging roadmap for electric vehicles (EVs) across the continent. As multiple countries within the Global South embark on their electric mobility journeys, it has become essential to foster cross-learning and transparent experience sharing.

CSE in collaboration with National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), Kenya is organising E-powering the mobility transition in Africa: Pan-Africa Electric Mobility Action Forum Workshop on March 25-262026 at Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi, Hurlingham in Nairobi, Kenya. This event will bring together regulators from across Africa to tap into collective learning curve and build actionable strategies. To ensure a comprehensive and sustainable transition, core discussions will focus heavily on designing effective demand incentives, scaling charging infrastructure development, exploring localized EV manufacturing pathways, and implementing circular EV battery recycling strategies. By bringing together expertise and sharing real-world insights, this can accelerate the roadmap for zero emissions transition.
