Operational and fiscal framework for implementation of the clean air programme

Centre for Science and Environment is organizing a roundtable discussion on strengthening the operational and fiscal framework for implementation of  the clean air programme: Learning from the implementation agencies at India Habitat Centre (Magnolia Hall) in New Delhi on June 13, 2025. 

This discussion will bring together the key air quality regulators, and implementation agencies from cities and technical agencies. 

This conversation will reflect on the way the city level operational and fiscal planning framework, implementation of the priority measures in key sectors and fiscal planning can be improved. How the dedicated funding for clean air action  under the Finance Commission,  National Clean Air Programme and under convergence funding (including a range of sectoral funding strategies) can be informed to upscale the priority measures for clean air.
