Innovations in the digital age have introduced enormous challenges and opportunities in every field – including visual communication and new media. Growth of the Internet and popularity of mobile phones and tabletshas transformed the art of telling a story visually. The world now belongs not only to photojournalists but also to citizen journalists, bloggers and all those who can use pictures to create stories.
So, if you are in the field of developmental communication or you are interested in exploring how the low-cost smart phones add value to your work, this is a workshop for you. It is an opportunity for all those who want to master the skill of producing effective, contextual multimedia stories—using photographs, videos, audio bytes, infographics and interactives.
Who will steer the workshop?
With an experience of over 30 years in knowledge-based activism and use of trending modes of communication, Centre for Science and Environment, a global think tank, brings you a workshop to understand the discipline of visual story-telling and new media.
