Online Course on: Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Principles and Practice

• Principles in international law for environmental protection
• The need for and components and processes of EIA
• Methodology for baseline data collection for air quality, water, ecology and biodiversity
• Identifying and screening environmental impacts
• Preparing monitoring and management plans
• Creative use of satellite data for basic understanding of land use pattern changes, project footprints, and temporal changes
