1996. CSE published a seminal study called Slow Murder — the deadly story of vehicular pollution in India. At a time when Delhi’s air was black with smog. A time when people did not know this air was a slow death, burrowing into them.
2025. Delhi’s air, if not black, is a dense, thick grey with smog. So is that of many other cities in India. This time, we know what it is doing to us.
But what are we doing about it?
