Environment Education in Action

In a world increasingly impacted by climate change and environmental challenges, environmental education has become more important than ever. It empowers individuals with the knowledge to understand these pressing issues and equips them with the skills, values, and confidence to make informed decisions and take meaningful action at both the individual and community levels.

The Centre for Science and Environment’s (CSE) Green Schools Programme (GSP) works with schools, teachers and students across India to foster a deeper understanding of climate change, its causes and impacts, and the practical solutions that can help build a more sustainable future

Building on the overwhelming response to the 2025 Green Schools Programme Audit and the continued participation of schools across Punjab, the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), in collaboration with the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCST) under the Environment Education Programme of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), is organising the 4th CSE PSCST State-Level Orientation Workshop.

The three-day residential workshop is designed for teachers and district coordinators nominated by PSCST.
