The Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), in collaboration with the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCST) under the Environment Education Programme of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), successfully conducted the 4th CSE–PSCST State-Level Orientation Workshop.
The three-day residential workshop brought together 39 teachers and district coordinators nominated by PSCST to strengthen their understanding of the Green Schools Programme (GSP), the GSP Audit framework, and practical approaches to integrating sustainability into school education.
The workshop featured sessions on the Green Schools Programme and GSP Audit, environmental challenges in Punjab, interactive group activities, a GSP Audit quiz, and a guided tour of the AAETI campus to showcase sustainable practices in action.
The workshop provided participants with practical knowledge and tools to strengthen environmental education initiatives in their schools and promote sustainability among students.
