From Marine Litter to Marine Leadership: An Exclusive Webinar for GSP Network Coastal Schools

Centre for Science and Environment’s Green Schools Programme (GSP) invites educators from coastal schools to an exclusive online session on one of the most pressing environmental challenges facing our coasts today: marine litter.

Join us to understand how marine litter affects our oceans, ecosystems and communities. The session will also explore the unique role schools can play in driving meaningful environmental action and how students can become leaders for cleaner coasts

WHAT WILL THE SESSION COVER?

  • Understanding the marine litter issue
  • How coastal schools can engage in meaningful environmental action
  • Exclusive preview of the GSP Marine Marshals Initiative, a national programme for selected students to help them champion marine conservation in their schools and communities

Schools attending the session will be invited to nominate students for the inaugural cohort of the Marine Marshals Initiative.
