CSE's South Asian Media Briefing Workshop on Climate Change, 2011

New Delhi, India November 16-17, 2011 The stage is getting set for the 17th Conference of Parties (CoP) in Durban. This is also the year which might sound the death knell for the Kyoto Protocol. In which direction would climate change negotiations and action head in the coming years? What more evidence has the science and study of climate change thrown up? And would the debates and discussions on mitigation and adaptation be a little more transparent, coherent and comprehensible this year?

Second Handholding Training for Preparation of City Sanitation Plans in Andhra Pradesh state: CSE - GIZ joint training programme(s)

The second handholding training on the “Preparation of City Sanitation Plan (CSP)- Part II” took place at Fortune Hotel, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh from October 14-16, 2015. The training is a part of a three stage handholding process for the preparation of CSPs for Andhra Pradesh, followed by a review workshop. The first training on ‘Preparation of City Sanitation Plan - Part 1' was held from July 1-3, 2015 at Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI), Hyderabad.

Keynote address on 'Climate Change, Sanitation and Water Resources' at WRC RDI Symposium at Johannesburg, South Africa (16-18 Sept.2015)

WRC Research Development and Innovation Symposium and Water Tech Summit organised by Water Research Commission, South Africa was held at Johannesburg from 16-18 Sept. 2015. Dr Suresh Rohilla, Programme Director – Water Management , delivered a keynote address on 'Climate Change, Sanitation and Water Resources' in the plenary session at the symposium on 17th Sept. 2015.  The international event was attended by over 500 key water sector professional, decision makers, researchers and NGOs. The symposium attracted participants from 20 countries.
