Fuelling the Biofuel Future: Review of State-Level Bioenergy Policies in India

CSE report, "Compressed Biogas: National Blueprint for Upscaling Policy and Practice," highlights the need for strengthening state-level policies in India. Accordingly, this report analyzes state-specific bioenergy and biofuel policies as a step forward, examines how states have incorporated the biofuels sector into their frameworks, and rates policies based on incentivization and good practices.

 

As the inclusion of biofuels in state policy is a critical step for energy management and renewable energy growth, strengthening these frameworks is essential for upscaling the sector.
