Haryana has a significant presence in the CBG sector, state has 17 operational plants at present, making it one of the top three states in India for operational CBG capacity. CSE under its initiative to strengthen the CBG ecosystem has done a sectoral study of the state. The study focused on understanding feedstock supply chains, off-take models, by-product management, cost economics, and scalability aspects of CBG production. The study is conducted with major objective of documenting good practices, identify challenges, and propose pathways for strengthening the ecosystem at the feedstock, manufacturing, and policy levels. To take this dialogue forward, CSE is conducting a "Stakeholder Workshop on Upscaling CBG sector in Haryana State: Addressing the issues and challenges" in Panchkula. The meeting will bring together key stakeholders including industry, policymakers, farmers and experts to share experiences, deliberate on sectoral challenges, and explore opportunities for scaling up CBG initiatives in the state
